How to Solve Hands of Time in Less Than 3 Minutes

 (my first advice is to write down the number first and then pause the game if u dealing one with time limit)

 (use paper and pen, I only use picture since my handwriting is bad)
1. my first step is to write down the number clockwise from one point, u can pick any number, and write an alphabet in the front of the number, starting with the first one u pick as starting point (A2-B4-.....)






 




2. next,  create a 4 columns table, in the first column, write down the alphabets start from A to the last, the second columns the connected alphabet on the clockwise direction, like A to C, B to F, and the third was the counter-clockwise direction (A to K, B to J)

3. on the third columns, find how many times an alphabet appear on the second and third columns

4. search for one that only appear once or not appear at all, it will help reduce the variable, for the alphabet that didnt appear at all in the second and third columns, it will be your first one u should pick ,sometimes u wont find one that didnt appear on the second and thirds columns, that means there more than one possible starting point

5. So, the first one will be the letter "I", and the letters that only appear once (only one possible source, like A only reachable from H, H only reachable from E, etc)are A (from H), H(from E), J (from B), and K (from A), write down H-A, E-H, B-J, A-K, sometimes u find some that can be connected, E-H, H-A, A-K, we can combine it into EHAK 


6. we only have to think the combination from EHAK, BJ C, D, F, G, I, L, we do know that it started with letter I, and everytime u hit the E, it always follows to H-A-K, (sometimes, if u lucky, u will find lesser numbers of letter remain) its need a little time to think, and u can solve it like 1-2 minute


7. one of the solutions are I-L-EHAK-D-F-G-BJ-C, and to help u can write down the numbers like: I3 - L5 - E3 - H5 - A2 - K5 - D2 - F1- G5 - B4- J5 - C1, and u can start solving the puzzle


I know that my method seems complex, but once u start using it, i believe that u will find it pretty much simple, but maybe someone already create a much simpler method or u prefer use some macros/ solvers, well, u may, but if u recommend u try to solve it once, it was so much fun, since the other type of puzzle are so easy (even with no walkthrough or guide), Im affraid that this type of minigame is the only puzzle-minigame in ffxiii-2 that will give you a sense of achievement, good luck folks
